damp smell poor soundproofing
the location was acceptable! near many attractions.
The room i booked, a beautiful double room internal window, had a distinct smell of dampness, i noticed this whenever i returned after a day out. It was really unpleasant. also, the soundproofing wasn't great, i could clearly hear conversations in the hallway late at night, this made it difficult to fall asleep.

Really good Stay with Excellent Service
welcome tea bright colors fresh fruit efficient housekeeping
Dulcie greeted me with welcome tea when i arrived a little early. I appreciated the gesture. The lobby decoration featured bright colors. My luggage was already in my room after lunch. A staff member even gave me a detailed room tour (such a personal touch!). The breakfast was a highlight. I enjoyed the roast pork and chicken one day. carbonara another day. The breakfast also included fresh fruit and juices, with options to order eggs, waffles, or pancakes. This definitely stood out to me. The room was very clean, and i found a basket of welcome fruit. Housekeeping was efficient. My room was tidied up during my brief breakfast. The staff were amazing. I especially appreciated Dulcie's warm welcome and genuine care. I felt at home.

slow replenishment room noise
i found the breakfast service to be somewhat lacking. the buffet items were not consistently replenished and i observed some delays in fulfilling a la carte orders. there was also an issue with the soundproofing as i could hear noise from adjacent rooms at night which disrupted my sleep.

The rooftop bar offered great views.
The room showed significant wear and tear. Bathroom caulking was black, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. Cleaning was subpar (I noticed a dusty closet).
